Meditation Labyrinth
Inspiration to write a villanelle came from a post by 10 poetry notebooks. Turns out the form suits my experience of meditating.
I slip into flow No future, no past A letting go. Life can be hard, although My die is not cast - I slip into flow. Filled with fear and woe Not to hold fast - A letting go. As above, so below Understanding at last I slip into flow. I plan for it to be so - When this breath is my last A letting go. I don’t ‘think’, I know A feeling so vast I slip into flow A letting go.

I find it fascinating that you connect this poem and form with meditating. The repetition of the villanelle does have a soothing, meditative feel. And I love the process of entering flow. The lifting of the consciousness into another space is wild and never-endingly amazing!
Ooh I love a good villanelle. I really enjoyed your approach to it as a form of meditation. It's very original and works so well.
